Am I a Don Quijote? Perhaps. But I refuse to stop dreaming.

Fifty years ago, the day I received my doctorate, I made a personal commitment: I would strive to be not only a good researcher and academic, but also a future shaper — someone who dares to challenge the present and inspire a different future.

My field of passion? The Future of Work. And, ultimately, the future of humanity.
Since then, I have written more than 100 books, published in multiple languages, and countless provocative and visionary articles. But writing has never been an end in itself. It has been my way of asking uncomfortable questions, challenging conventional wisdom, and inviting those who shape our societies to think differently.

My partner in this intellectual adventure has been The European Business Review, which has generously embraced my somewhat Quixotic mission and created a dedicated column:

If you explore these articles, you will discover that I have not stopped. I keep writing, keep questioning, and keep hoping that my ideas will reach business leaders, policymakers, and other influential people who might join this journey toward creating a better world in which to live and work.

Am I naive? I don’t think so.
I am simply convinced that we can approach life, work, leadership, and human coexistence differently. And that change is possible.

Perhaps I will not witness the full transformation in my lifetime. But does that mean we should stop trying?
Not me.
The dream continues. The mission continues.
And I invite you to join the conversation.
